Story:
Sovann, age 9 arrived in Wisconsin from Cambodia with her parents when she was four years old. She is a quiet, demure child who does well in school but prefers to play alone. At home she takes care of her younger siblings while her parents work at a local laundramat. Very organized, she plans out both her activities and her younger siblings for the afternoons that she watches them. She watches them while they play out on the street, riding their bikes and various other toys but refuses to engage.
While good at picking up after her siblings, she's not so good at keeping herself clean. Sovann is very anxious to please others and completely melts down when faced with criticism.
